Silence...

for at least a few days... new laptop is imminent. But alas, not before we head home in an hour or so...
I hope to at least do my usual lurking around other peoples blogs during the visit home... but hey people! I love e-mail too!!!! *note, I can read comments without leaving a footprint to my blog on the parental computer... which would be a little rude to write with my mom around huh?!
Feeling oddly at peace with this crap... so far they have not actually dropped off their letter of "get the heck out of here so we can have our sick kid move in". Word on the street (ie. fellow flipping a house two down from us... is that they are going to be doing "renovations" over the winter to get it on the market by spring....
All together now...
Politicians all lie at some point!

Must go and see if husband has had much luck at the police/insurance assessment... blech.
See you next week... tried to get this next post to go up on the proper day.... delay the posting by tweaking the time/date stamp... but I don't think it is going to work. So it's early!

We're moving!!!

So I'm even more unhappy today!!!
Yeah, so thrilled.
Apparently the daughter is sick... and they want her to move in somewhere closer to them...

A) we tried this line in our first year... because that daughter couldn't keep a job and was constantly having to move home. *saying that if we wanted to move before the second year was up, that would be fine....
B) the (other daughter)chain smoker with the two kids has finally succumbed to the carcinogens!
C) they are using it as an excuse to have it ready for the market by spring.

I am so angry. SO FREAKING ANGRY!
Nice, not only does monster #1 get to start school in September... he gets to move too... oh what fun. I am using a lot of nasty words right now... LOTS!

I am not a happy mama...

A. Notice the time stamp... husband is still not home from the staff party. Which he assured me until yesterday that he was not attending... so guess who made the "dish to share"... while he went to the gym.... I am a fool. I am a big fool. Oh yes, and he wasn't going to stay late... be home in time to help get the kids to bed. I AM A FOOL!

B. our vehicle was assaulted. Someone tried to break into it overnight, so our insurance is assessing it, and we will have it fixed next week... ahem. I will be getting it fixed next week.

C. I forgot to phone back a friend earlier this evening... drat.

D. Our roam phone is dying. So I do not hear it ring... so if you phone me, leave a message! I check on the phone downstairs... which now that I think of it is going to move upstairs later on.

E. I am sitting here with monster #1... yes, go back to A. and look at the time. I am allowing him to watch Peter Pan (the newer live action one) I know that this will lead to a horror tomorrow with his tired carcass... but he is so excited and loving this. Apparently I get to be Wendy for Halloween, Dad is Cpt. Hook, monster #2 is going to be a crocodile (bought the outfit already), and nqmd... of course shall be a fairy (tinkerbell, but she won't be so naughty mom!).

F. I am so tired I feel dizzy again... blech.

G. See A. I am so not happy with husband... thank goodness he is leaving for four weeks on Saturday! Cause I'm not feeling overly forgiving at the moment.

Well, no you don't have to give a commitment!

Whew.
We do not have to give a commitment of how long we are going to stay.
We do not have to sign a new contract (lease).
We do not have to talk to them ever again! woo hoo!
We may have to move before we are ready, but as far as the tenancy "mediator" can tell... They don't really have any means with which to do this.
So here is hoping that they do not feel miserable and snarly... and decide to give us a months notice that they want to sell the house! Please!
The mediator said they did not indicate that this was the plan.
The mediator said that them wandering on to the property is a "no no!".
The mediator said that if they call again. All I have to say is, please speak with _______, and this person will contact me with the details.

Life is good!
So very good!
Sadly blogging will be iffy come the weekend.... going to the parents... If I had new laptop, maybe things would be different.... but alas. Do not want to hurry the process... must have planning stage with amazing techie friend... over chocolate or cheese or some such delightful thing!

I hate renting!

So the owners now have the "tenancy" people phoning our house.
I hate them. I really, really hate them.
WHY DID I SAY WE MIGHT BE MOVING!!!! WHY WHY WHY??????
I hate renting.
I hate it.
I hate it.
I hate it.
HATE IT.

What do you get when.....

You give a fellow blogger doula a long rambly e-mail...
after she didn't update her blog in three months!!!
When she finally did, you barely recognize her or the guy she is with! Tim?
AND you find out that her house is really a bed and breakfast tourguide stop off after all? Can I put in a reservation for next year? Let me know what dates you have left open!

You get comments ! And a guilt trip of your own, because she was heading out to the gym.... grumble... I'll go tonight.

Welcome back long distance doula! AND if you didn't notice... I tagged you!

Today is the day...

That I need to put in writing that dear lovely husband... MUST PROMISE to allow someone else to do our taxes next time.
I am dyslexic as far as numbers and the letter z. But he has little excuse... other than perhaps he is used to only having to count to four and start over again ... music teachers! =)
Nice surprise in the mailbox today... it was a good kind of "you screwed up on those government papers" surprise.

AND
Can someone please tell me why it is that nqmd has decided that feeding herself is of utmost importance just shy of her eighth month on the planet?! WHY WHY WHY? I just finished making such lovely things for the coming week... WHY?! Just let me sneak in a spoonful ... please?

I thought I was okay with this...

*Too little sleep, too warm, and too unbalanced to be blogging... so take this little ramble with a grain of salt... or a bag of potatoe chips, just don't forget share them with me!

Of late, I'm realizing that I'll eventually get to do something with my life. Yes, yes, I know I am doing something (and getting paid for it too, gee thanks Stephen) ... but something that does not necessarily involve the ungrateful little monsters whims and plots to take away what is left of my sanity.
This little blip on the radar is courtesy of Monster #1 who will be attending Kindergarten this coming fall. *note to self, get teacher kick ass gift for not killing him if he makes it to the holidays!*

So, in thinking about life, the universe and everything, whilst sipping my ice cap at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.....
I have more than once said "I won't be a midwife".
And it did not make me sad. I realized that despite the want, since grade two thank you very much... I do not need to get there... It is just not something I will be able to pull off in this life. Not sad, just practical.
Until I started reading this blog... a fellow Canadian studying midwifery in New Zealand. Now all of a sudden I'm sad?
Not sure why. Still all practical inside this pathetic little brain.
Perhaps I too have a fever and have yet to notice it... poor nqmd is rather snuffly and feverish. I thought I was okay with this loss of a dream...
Maybe the answer really is 42.

my life...

As described by my husband late this (last?!) evening...

Which is actually quite adept of him...

When you read all three at the same time... and envision your life with all three characters as my children... asking ever so politely that their needs be met... immediately.

Apparently there is soon to be a bear with a brownie.... I will not be supplying the bear... the Chocolate Lab will do just fine.... thank you very much.
Feeling like I'm losing control these days... 'cause if you give a mommy an ice cap...

Doula Sighting!!!

Look! There is Hannah on my t.v.!!!

Okay, so I've seen this one a few times.... but hey, gotta take a celebrity sighting where you can! Even if it is by blogimity... Proximity through blogging? uh huh!

What kind of baby are you?

Whilst cruising Elephant Shoe... oohhh the cool things to be had... sigh. Why do I always cruise these sites when I know we don't need anything, or have the money to do get anything? Answer me that?!

I found these lovely books!
Now then what kind of baby is nqmd? .....

Baby Goth? Super hip? Cool?

I don't think she has any plaid anymore (a few sizes back she had some plaid jammies)

She figures she is just perfect the way she is...

Goin' to the dark side?

I wonder if it is too late to take up coffee (in its warm form) at my age?
I'm so zonked... Went to bed early and tossed and turned all night! Despite the reassurances from the tenancy people, not sure what kept me up... the ususal no doubt; money, parenting issues, nursling ... the usual.
Must get a nap! MUST HAVE A NAP! Only four more hours.... please?!

Vindication

You say that your original lease was 2 years which ended July 1, 2005. Did the landlord present you with a new lease no later than March 31, 2005 last year? If he/she did not, then the lease rolled over for one term to end of June 2007. BUT since (if it is the case), your landlord did not give you a renewal, even thought your lease rolled over, you can now give the landlord one full month notice to vacate. But if you had signed a renewal last year, the way out of the lease ending June 30, 2007 is to assign it to another party.

So in other words they don't have a leg to wobble on... Each subsequent phone call had further slurred words.
Feeling slightly less jumpy.
Just slightly... I'm still putting a large hunk of concrete in front of the back gate!

So I said thank you to that e-mail and got this little tid bit... Hopefully this will be one of my last posts on this saga!

The landlord cannot wander into your yard without giving you prior notice in writing stating a valid reason for entry of at least 24 hours. Tell him you are giving a new batch of cheques; and will definitely give them one full month notice when vacating, so tell them (her) she does not have to worry that you are leaving momenatarily. If she persists, talk to her husband and or call us and we will phone her. You must be allowed to enjoyment of your premises that you are paying for.

Well, now... isn't that interesting!?

Saturday, June 17, 2006

When is Monday?

The owner of the house called twice today.... we were outside doing the yard sale thing... thank goodness. Surprised at the fact they didn't notice, as there was the two calls...
-guess you are going out, I see you leaving
-well I thought you were home now.... we need to talk...
They live down the backlane.
How many hours to Monday and the tenancy people go to work?
AAARRG!
Yard sale was a success. Woo hoo! Didn't sell everything, but put a good dent in the piles of clothes.... piles and piles of clothes. There were a few pregnant moms who came, none had midwives or doulas... sigh... I know that midwifery isn't for everyone, but.... doulas?!
My midwife uses the expression, "have a doctor? get a doula!"
'nuff said.
My father is going to do some less aggressive chemo. Seems to be a good "middle ground" for everyone concerned. Monster #1 broke my heart when my father got back from his appointment.

Granpa, did the doctor make you feel better? Did he make you better?

Sniffle. We have not explained that Granpa is very sick... I mean how much do you tell an almost five year old? I need to get out my hospice/bereavement binder and dust it off.

Counting down the minutes to bath time... and the hours until Monday... Will definitely hit church in the morning. More time away from the phone, voicemail be damned... is it appropriate to damn your voicemail on Sunday?
hmmmm

Homeless...

The landlord (lady?) called and left a message...
Feeling incredibly anxious and angry at the harassment.
Just fired off an e-mail to the tenancy people through the government... Incidentally we are renting from a MLA.... ironic isn't it.
Very scared that we are going to be turfed from our teeny tiny home.
I want to change our phone number now!
DRAT does not even cover it.

Have mercy....

I have marked everything I want more than a dollar for... socks, hats and sniffle sob tights not included.. they shall be .50 cents.
OH MY GOODNESS DO/DID I HAVE A LOT OF CLOTHES!
My parents brought a jolly jumper for nqmd, a hand-me-down from friends... she seems to appreciate it more when she lifts her feet and her brothers make her swing... not what I had hoped for.
The boys have a new toy too. An 'Old West town, complete with horses and cowboys and a little mainstreet building type thing. Very cool! Very nice for 4.00!
Best thing I've heard all day... this was during a time that they were not fighting over who got which cowboy and which horse.... there are equal numbers of each boys! Why is it they can not grasp that concept?

"that's a hula hoop to catch the cows monster #2!"

Hmmm, I think having lived in redneck country has jaded us enough that I have not educated my children on the finer points of cowboy culture...shiver... culture and cowboy... yeah okay...

Must go and figure out what to do for supper.
Wish me luck on the yard sale tomorrow... supposed to storm at some point. Drat.

One last Dumbo quote before the movie goes back to the library tomorrow.... In regards to dear Dr. Amy's "Debate"

Well hush mah beak!

Bribery

I'm starting to think that if I purchase this...

She will immediately decide to sit... and just to spite me, crawl too....
And they are on sale this weekend!

blotchy rashes...

Which is what I woke up to find on nqmd this morning.
I blame the postal system for brining me this sample.

I'm hoping that it is a reaction to the product... as she hasn't had anything "new" introduced in the food department!
Gentle my ___!
ugh.

Eight things about me...

Fun reading ahead, get yourself a cookie and a glass of milk...

Thanks to The Student who has nicely asked me to play!

In random order... cause really I'm sure there is much more than eight!

1. When asked if I've ever had surgery, I have to correct my first thought of "no". I'm constantly amazed that I don't think I've ever had surgery, I'm sure it isn't that I figured the c-section was not major abdominal surgery... but I also don't think I'm trying to repress it, or am I? I think of this because I was asked today if I'd ever had surgery... I almost answered no. The woman then went on to say that c/s's are not really surgery....
Thwack thwack thwack

2. I love black and white photography. My favourite portraits are in b&w. I credit my father with my love of photography. *note to self... must take more photos of dad.

3. When I was in grade two and asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I said a midwife. Then I had to go on to explain to the "fresh from university" teacher what a midwife was. Which in my limited knowledge was that I'd go to a moms house and help her have her baby. I think it was a little hero worship of a midwife still practicing in my hometown.

4. I cut the fabric for my wedding dress on Wednesday night, and hemmed in on Friday night after the rehearsal. I'd had the material for 19 months (aspen leaf pattern woven into a summer weight wool) and we'd been engaged for 20 months before getting married. I took it apart to make into a Christening jumper for monster #1... I started sewing that a little sooner than it was needed! Lesson learned there!

5. My husband is mocking me now... So I will allow him this one. I am a CBC geek. I actually walked to school on a snow day, because my parents did not listen to the country music station that carried the school closures. My children will be more fortunate, they now carry this vital information.

6. I like to iron.... I know, disturbing isn't it?!

7. I do not own a "real purse". On a similar note, I only just got a diaper bag!

8. I can tell the difference between emergency vehicle sirens. Not something I'm proud of, but thanks to the few minutes after nqmd was born... I want to crawl out of my skin when I hear an ambulance siren.

Tag to the long distance doula... cause it worked last time... and I hope you are still around!

songs running through my head...

I can stand the sight of worms
And look at microscopic germs
But Technicolor pachyderms
Is really too much for me.

Question:

How many times does one have to watch Dumbo to get the psychedelic pachyderm song stuck in their head?

Answer:

Surprisingly not that many.

Twilight ramblings

Not sure where to start.
The weekend was a horror at a whole new level. Van required 350+ in repair... We don't have 350- to spare!
I got most everything sorted, folded, priced and set aside for a yard sale... Except the two IKEA bags full.... that I will have to tackle on Friday. I took them to my parents a while ago, but with the attitude of my m-i-l... I've decided that I want to avoid being in the same city as much as possible. So I will spend Friday afternoon pricing those clothes. I'm only marking things that I want more than a dollar for. That way, everything that does not have a tag... is a dollar! I really hope it goes well! We could use putting that van repair money back in the bank!
The mother in law issue just gets better and better.... I re-evaluated the months of ignoring me and snarling and tried to play nice again... I am no longer going to. I brought up my thoughts of her actually trying to "undermine" our marriage. Husband just chalks it up to her being addled/whacked/crazy/miserable! I really think she wants me gone... no joke.
I will not even get into the person who owns this house we are renting visits... yes, there is an S .... lets just use the words alcohol, low brain cell function without said alcohol, and the fact people should not wear short shorts! Though I'm still snickering at the undone zipper. Final parting thought... eeew!
We went off to another big park in our city yesterday (we live right close to one designed by the same fellow who did Central Park in NYC)... the boys had a blast, new playgrounds are always a big hit. Picnic things, lemonade... just what we needed.
Been having deep thoughts about birth and such in between the howls of children today.... Nothing I can put into words quite yet... just thoughts. Really enjoying the Homebirth Debate.... amazing what can earn a degree in medicine! Truely amazing. Today it is about trashing the Royal College of Midwives in the UK, for asking that epidurals be an out of pocket expense.... Not sure I agree with it, but whatever... just another venue with which to prove that midwives are the bane of all evil... thwack thwack thwack *decided to attach a pillow to my skull to cushion the blow while I hit my head against the wall.
Time to do something productive, like sleep... har har har. Monster #2 was up at 5:37 this morning... I am beyond tired.
Will drink another glass of water, steer clear of the idea of a snack... and crawl into bed........... I hope.
Tonight I'm going to ruminate on my friend who is expecting her 2nd set of twins this fall... the doula from Finns birth, haven't talked too her in forever and I hope she is okay... How come it takes so long for a judge to sign a piece of paper? (feeling tacky again)...

Saturday, June 10, 2006

It just gets better and better...

That lovely homebirth "debate".... moth to flame, yeah... moth to flame..
This is Dr. Amys latest pearl of wisdom. It seems that those women who chose major abdominal surgery are the same as those of who advocate for homebirth.....

Eeewwwwww!
I feel dirty.
Must go and wash with bleach now!
ick ick ick!

And to think we didn't know...

What nqmd was going to be that is...
Last year on this day, we went for an ultra sound. She somewhat co-operated with the technician. All but her gender... Oh no, we had to have the cord in the way, oh my didn't we have to have the placenta front row centre (anterior)....
*and no this is certainly not my baby belly... mine was much more stipey and not as pretty... though I could catch her foot quite easily up until the last month or so.

The rash is back...

So, I'm sorting clothes for a huge yard sale. I can not keep my little teeny tiny people clothes... I might try and talk myself into another baby. And deep down I know I don't need another baby. And my brain when thinking about it, knows I don't want another baby.
But the girl clothes. Oh the things nqmd wore... So much pink... So cute, so beautiful...
I have kept a few things for each child. Things that matter, the onesie with John Lennon sketches we bought at twelve weeks with Monster #1. The Orange Osh Kosh outfit while pregnant with Monster #2 and we couldn't get his heartbeat at the appointment that day. The clothes I sent to the hospital for nqmd to come home in. She never wore the jammies again, but the undershirt was pink and was worn often. My midwife hunted in the birth box for the bag with the "girly" clothes I had discreetly wrapped up with hesitation... You can barely see the flowers on the sleeper, but the pink undershirt was there!
I'm not so much mourning the "last baby" thoughts... more the fact that she is growing so fast. In fact rather too fast (According to the new WHO guidelines, only 5 % of girls are the same length as her!). It is going so fast.
Then again, I have things to look forward to as well.

Thanks to amazing techie (cyberstalker?) friend Jenn for these blasts from the past blog!!!

Painted toes...
This is something that I have no idea how to do...
Thank goodness for Aunt Jenn, she will show us the way into girly world.
And yes, I did try the orange clip... monster #1 had the purple one, I had the pink one. We all had enough hair.. all round! YEAH!

Hurricanes in the kitchen and girly things...
I think one has... or is it just my being lazy? I have full knowledge that my husband will NOT be home before at least six p.m. ... so I am in no rush to do anything... Then again on those days he comes home to disaster, he says nothing then either. He just wades into the dishes and "putters". I think I am a lonely woman in that he actually enjoys cleaning!
Today after my very much appreciated, take the last of the warm water between loads of laundry, shower I found a recent purchase. I opened our medicine cabinet, which has very little actual medicine in it. In there I spied the impulse purchase I made of two weekends ago. I bought little hair clips. Pink, purple, teal, yellow, white, orange, green and a repeat pink. Two of each, no bigger than to the first knuckle of your pinkie finger. Or depending on toe size, a small toe. They were a dollar, sale price after the holiday season of stocking stuffers. I couldn't resist. Nqmd has hair. The only child of mine to still have hair at this point, almost three months. She has recently scraped off a bald spot at the back of her knobbly head. I can't even feel any hair there. It is as smooth as her behind. I am slightly horrified. Thank goodness for the winter... hats are en vogue.
So here I am with these little hair clips... wondering when her hair will be long enough to put one in. I am slightly depressed to think it may be in the summer. I'm also wondering what kind of person I'm turning into... I ... like ... pink. Ahh, now there is something I have avoided admitting so far! I like putting my nqmd in pink. I LOVE putting her in dresses. I have purchased no less than seven pairs of leotards/tights whatever they are called these days... And she has worn all but two pairs! I also made a statement along the lines of "I don't care how much they cost, we are going to get these ones" Who would have thought that there was such a thing as bear bum tights? I am liking this girl thing! A little too much, but I am liking it. Yikes. How scary is this!
Should probably try and clean up the kitchen a bit. Just so the monsters don't feel the urge to play with the recycling this afternoon... again. And the orange hair clip would look so sweet with her outfit today! sigh....

I'm getting a rash...

And it is pink!!!!
PINK PINK PINK ... who would have thought?!
I swore I wouldn't get girly.... I swore!
Yet, here I am with a pink snowsuit.
I can rationalize this. Monster #2 will still be wearing the bumble bee snowsuit next year (two piece black and yellow one from monster #1)! She needed one of her own! Right?

Feeling tacky!

Well, this may sound tacky... Okay it IS tacky... but
WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG PEOPLE??!!!!!
*I plan on purchasing a new laptop with some of the money that I am recieving from my grandmothers estate*

Sorry, it seems that this lovely little machine (built in the early nineties) isn't playing nice with our internet service. So if you've sent me an e-mail... please resend it..... har har har, I get the occasional e-mail, but mostly it is ads from Eddie Bauer, Gymboree (tights people, TIGHTS!!!). =)

So, I'm back.
Dad is in next week, to discuss if he will do chemo or not. He doesn't like to talk about it with me. But from what I've pried out of him, I think he is leaning towards not. He has had a great quantity of life, so the quality at the end is what he is looking for. There are days I regret my time in hospice work.... I'm thinking of all the comfort things I want for him.... how I'd rather if he went quickly and peacefully, not in the palliative ward. No matter how home-y it is.......
ugh.

So far no babysitter for the weekend yet. Can we say woo hoo... quietly! shhhhh he might hear.

And my amazing techie friend, found my other blog, something about being cached.... I might try and put those posts back up! Or at least some of them. Hmmm, does this count as cyber stalking? or was she just bored? Laughing uproariously here. =) THANKS JENN!!!

Must go and nurse nqmd. Milk is back after our chiropractic adventure last week... can almost move my head around normally again!

I think I'm addicted to the internet? Just a final thought... eek!

Head trauma

Jeeze, you just can't make this kind of thing up.... it is too sad (good?) to be true!
I am causing head trauma while visiting the "homebirth debate blog" of Dr. Amy *no I am not including lovely linkage... too lazy. I can't help but laugh today, on the heels of a rant over homebirth marketing (and all the evils of it) she opened up her own website on the subject. You know to educate all those people who might believe it is a safe alternative. Thump thump thump goes my head on the edge of the sofa................
If this doesn't scare some of those "c/s is the way to go!" people...
I don't know what will!
Sadly these types of things make the throbbing in my cranium less... At the same time, how many of these horror stories are there out there? How many women are suffering in silence? What kind of person am I to see the "good" that will come of this story being shared?!
Will ruminate on these in my caffeine hyped state. I've fallen off the wagon, Dr. Pepper Slurpee in hand. I can't comment on the sodium snack either... I figure a few bruises from falling off can only balance the ones on my head right?

Quibbles and snippets

Husband and I have been bickering a fair bit. In fact, a lot.
A few weeks ago I confided to a friend that I actually thought about leaving him... I chalked it up to hormones... I'm starting to think I need to do something about these hormones. Because I can not dislike him this much, for much longer! Well, we might be able to slug it out until August... he is gone all of July. ;-)
There is a "party" for the gal he car pools with next weekend. I do not want to go. I have no urge to go. I don't care if he "wants me to go". I don't want to.
Financially it is ridiculous to do it, especially when I am trying to keep us afloat for the summer on the meager savings. The party is in the snooty suburban stepford wives town, we have to find a babysitter for the monsters (usual babysitter is working fulltime including weekends!)... it is just ridiculous.
I do not want to go. Financially I don't want to go. Husband can catch a ride with someone else from Winnipeg who is going, right?!
What the heck will I do there? Sit. I have nothing to contribute, I have nothing in common with any of them. WHY should I bother? Who gives a rats ass about a stay at home mother? Nobody wants to hear about my life, because in all honesty I don't have one. I get tired of trying to explain (while defending that yes, it was my choice to have three children) that it wouldn't do us as a "family" any good for me to go to work... heck I wouldn't even earn enough to pay for childcare, let alone the tax issues! Maybe I can come down with something viral and truely get to skip out? Oh please!

Tylenol is my friend

Somewhere between seeing my chiropractor yesterday and today....
I hurt myself.
To the point of sobbing on the floor while the monsters looked on with curiosity. Then they pounced on me while I was down... carnivores! I dream of painting Where the Wild Things Are on the walls... monsters everywhere!

I have now consumed enough Tylenol (the good stuff with codeine) to make movement less difficult. I was able to put nqmd to bed. Barely... Sorry sweetie I didn't mean to holler in pain like that while I was covering you up!
Back in the days of my migraine induced hell... often my body would completely shut me down. If I refused to be still or throw up, or whatever it seemed to need me to do.... I would occasionally have a seizure. Those shut me down right quick. In fact I think that is the only time my sibling (the one I am reasonable with) has ever been completely freaked out about me. I was nice enough to have one while he was home visiting and we were watching some horrible movie on t.v. ... his wife is still freaked about me. Just mention homebirth after c/s, she starts to reach for her "meds" before you've finished the word after. Yeah, too easy.

So right now I'm nicely numb around the edges... still in pain if I move too quickly... but much better than when I turned down the idea of cheese therapy to go with our frozen drinks... we have added chocolate to the evening too... Can't be bad, without being REALLY BAD! I will drink water too... can everyone see Hannah cringe? So far Sunday seems to be the day we can both get together... woo hoo!

Have I mentioned how much I love Tylenol? Going to put the cold pac on my neck again.... I love Tylenol.
I haven't cruised the Tylenol aisle for adults in a while... mostly out to drug my children now a days....
Wonder if this is in the Canadian market yet... I remember stocking up on it in my younger years everytime we went south of the boarder.... sigh.....
