Date night....

So, we had a "date" last night.
Nqmd got dressed up for the affair, stripped tights (who did not see that coming?), new jean dress and red turtle neck... which seems like a stupid idea for children when they don't have necks! =)
So we went downtown to find somewhere new to go. Ended up just deciding on Indian food... ooohhh all the curry! YUM! I'm slightly concerned as to what nqmd will think of it today, but we shall see.
We decided to go walk around a mall to try and waste some more time... Original plan was for ice cream, without having small people making a mess. Anyway, we wandered through the stores. Eventually husband realized the absolute craziness that is having a girl. It is so much fun buying clothes for a girl! We bought her a pair of leggings and a t-shirt, monster #2 got a shirt with an alligator embroidered in the pocket and monster #1 got some new underpants with gators on them. We are going to keep these things for Easter time. So date night consisted of food, shopping for the kids, a slurpee on the way home and bed by ten. Couch for husband. Nqmd has basically moved on to dad's side of the bed... at least we all get some sleep... right?
Well, should go and do something productive this morning. The weekend is upon us, and I'm not sure what we are up to yet. I do know that monster #1 wants to have waffles. And blueberry muffins. Should work on that...after we buy some flour.
